Participant selection

You are invited to participate in a pilot study to assist us in developing the final questionnaire for a national online study that will be launched in late 2009. We hope to learn how many men are prepared to take part in this large-scale study on sexual and social behaviour, health and well-being, as well as what features of an online study will enhance or inhibit participation. We are seeking participants for this pilot study who are a gay or bisexual men aged 18 years or above.

Description of study

If you decide to participate, we will ask you to fill out a short questionnaire. The questions are about your willingness to take part in an upcoming national online study, including your willingness to take part in the study on an ongoing basis. We also want to know if you have any concerns about providing personal contact details for follow-up or providing semi-identifying information that will allow us to link to health databases so we can estimate the rate of specific health conditions.

The survey will take about 10 minutes to complete.
